✂️ Cutsy

Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and StarNova for using Cutsy. Using the app means you accept them.

Cutsy is also distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as well. Where that EULA and these terms conflict, the EULA governs your licence to the app itself.

1. What Cutsy is

Cutsy lets you cut a subject out of a photo on your own device and turn it into a sticker or a card, collect those into packs, and share them. The cut-out runs on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework; nothing is uploaded.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Cutsy on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your content is yours

You keep every right you already have in the photos you use and the stickers, cards and packs you make. We claim no ownership over them and no licence to them. Because they never leave your device, we could not use them even if we wanted to.

You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you put into Cutsy — for example, not using a photo of someone who has not agreed to it in a way that would harm them.

4. What you agree not to do

Cutsy has no accounts, no feed, and no user-to-user content — what you make stays on your phone until you choose to share it. That also means we cannot moderate what you create; responsibility for it, and for anywhere you send it, is yours.

5. Cutsy Pro, purchases, and renewals

Cutsy is free to use, with a free tier that completes the whole loop: make, collect and share. Cutsy Pro unlocks unlimited saves, every style and decoration, and exports without the Cutsy mark.

All payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Unused portions of a free trial, if one is offered, are forfeited when you buy a subscription.

6. Changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may stop offering Cutsy. If we discontinue the app, we will make a reasonable effort to give notice in advance. Features described as part of Pro at the time of your purchase will not be moved behind an additional charge for the period you have paid for.

7. Disclaimer

Cutsy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a cut-out will be accurate for every photo. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarNova is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Cutsy. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Cutsy. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

10. Termination

These terms apply until terminated. They end when you delete Cutsy from your devices. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 7, 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
