These terms are the agreement between you and StarNova ("we") for the SentenceRay iOS app. By using the app you accept them.
SentenceRay analyses English sentences you submit and explains their structure and meaning, partly using AI. It is a learning aid. AI explanations can be wrong or incomplete — please do not rely on them for anything consequential, and never as legal, medical, academic or professional advice.
You keep ownership of the text you submit. You give us the permission we need to process, transmit and store it in order to run the service for you (see the Privacy Policy). Only submit text you are allowed to submit, and do not submit other people's personal or confidential information.
Do not use the app to break the law, to abuse the service (automated scripts, bulk submission, attempts to bypass daily limits), or to reverse engineer or resell it. We may suspend access that damages the service for other people.
The Free plan includes a full X-Ray experience with a daily count — currently three X-Rays and one AI question a day, with your five most recent X-Rays kept. SentenceRay Pro removes those limits. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store:
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change; a price change is applied only to periods that start after you are notified. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy — we cannot issue them directly, but write to us and we will help.
Pro remains subject to a generous fair-use ceiling that exists to stop scripted abuse; a person learning English will not meet it.
We try to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature during a period you have paid for, contact us.
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end your access if you break these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country you live in.
