Sayly — Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and StarNova ("we", "us"), the operator of Sayly. By downloading or using Sayly you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. What Sayly is

Sayly gives you one English question a day. You answer it by speaking or typing, an AI reviews the answer, and the app keeps your streak and history. Sayly is a practice tool. It is not a certified assessment, and its scores and corrections are generated automatically and may be wrong. Do not rely on them for admissions, employment or any formal purpose.

3. No account

Sayly has no sign-in. Your progress lives against an anonymous ID tied to your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you delete the app and the device can no longer be recognised, or if you switch to a different device, your history and streak may be lost. We cannot restore history for an identity we cannot identify.

4. Free use and Pro

The daily habit loop is free every day. Sayly Pro is an optional paid upgrade that unlocks the full learning history, insights and additional daily practice. Nothing in Sayly is unlimited: both the free tier and Pro have daily practice allowances that protect the service from runaway costs. Consumable credit packs top up practice beyond the daily allowance.

5. Purchases, renewal and cancellation

• All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• The lifetime unlock and credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.
• Purchases can be restored on the same App Store account from the app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by us.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing or infringes someone else's rights;
• upload other people's voices or personal data without their permission;
• attempt to bypass the daily allowance, reverse engineer the app, scrape the service, or use it through automated clients;
• use the service in a way that disrupts it for others.

We may limit or end access if the service is being abused.

7. Your content

Your answers remain yours. You give us the limited permission needed to transmit, transcribe, review and store them so the app can work, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not publish your answers or use them to advertise.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Sayly, including features and pricing for future purchases. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.

9. Disclaimer and liability

Sayly is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that reviews are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Sayly is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Sayly at any time by deleting the app, and you may ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
